DR ROCKZO DUO
Dr.Rockzo duo is an acoustic/electric pop and rock outfit based in Brisbane
/ Gold Coast.
Dr Rockzo have been performing full time since their arrival at
Brisbane in 2007 and consist of Simon Meola - vocals/rhythm guitar/percussion,
and Davitt Barry (21) vocals/lead guitar/percussion. Their target audience
can range from 18-35’s on a busy Saturday night, but also perfectly suited
to a cruisy Sunday afternoon show. Weddings are one of their specialties.
The duo currently gig in Northern NSW, the Gold Coast, throughout Brisbane
and also up the Sunshine Coast. Their voices blend into rich harmonies,
and to add to their sound they perform with a wooden stomp, tambourine,
and various other percussive instruments, which always keep it interesting
and fun for audiences! Dr Rockzo pride themselves on having a highly professional
attitude leaving venues eager to book them again and again. All the hits
are pumped out, plus many rarities to please even the fussiest of patrons.
